About the role and where you will be working
We're looking for a Hospitality team member to join our friendly crew at Villa Pelletier in West Leederville. In this casual role, you'll help keep things running smoothly and contribute to a warm, homelike environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning resident areas, maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, and facility areas to a high standard.
* Routine and deep cleaning, following infection control and hygiene procedures.
* Safe equipment use, operating and maintaining cleaning tools, chemicals, and supplies correctly.
* Surface sanitisation, ensuring floors, touchpoints, and shared areas remain hygienic.
* Waste management, sorting, removing, and replacing bins in line with facility guidelines.
* Stock monitoring, keeping track of cleaning supplies and reporting when replenishment is needed.
* Laundry support, collecting, sorting, washing, drying, and folding items as required.
* Kitchen hand duties, assisting with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
* Meal service assistance, supporting food and beverage delivery to residents.
About you
You enjoy connecting with elderly residents and take pride in delivering high quality work. You're a natural multitasker with strong time management skills and thrive in a role where care and attention to detail make a meaningful difference. To be considered for this role you'll need
* Previous experience in laundry, cleaning or hospitality (aged care experience highly regarded)
* An understanding of infection control and safe work practices
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a positive, can?do attitude
* Reliability, punctuality and strong attention to detail
