The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Swim Teachers to join our team at the Donnybrook Recreation Centre.

About the Role
As a Swim Teacher, you will deliver structured swimming and water safety lessons, ensuring a safe, positive and engaging experience for all participants.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver swimming lessons in line with recognised teaching programs (e.g. RLSSWA)
* Supervise and ensure the safety of all participants in accordance with legislation and centre procedures
* Create a fun, inclusive and supportive learning environment
* Assess swimmer progress and maintain accurate lesson records
* Work collaboratively with the Aquatics team to continuously improve the program
* Maintain equipment and adhere to health and safety requirements
About You
You will be confident in the water, passionate about teaching and enjoy working with people of all ages.
We are looking for someone who brings
* A positive, friendly and engaging approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to deliver high-quality, structured lessons
* A genuine interest in aquatic education and safety
* Current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety – Requirement
* Current CPR and First Aid certification
* Working with Children Check
* National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
