Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary maternity team. As a key member of the team, you will provide woman-centered care focused on individual needs and aspirations to achieve optimal birthing outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including assessment, planning, and interventions aimed at achieving optimal birthing outcomes. You will coordinate care, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and ensure accurate record-keeping to meet legal requirements.
You will supervise and delegate tasks to less experienced staff, supporting quality birthing outcomes. The role offers rotating shifts, flexible work, and a friendly country town lifestyle.
Requirements
* A registered midwifery qualification recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Experience in providing high-quality midwifery care
