At Queensland Health, we seek a seasoned Distribution Center Manager to oversee the operational performance of our Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business strategy, operational planning, and performance reporting to drive success in the Centre.
* Provide visionary leadership across all aspects of Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
* Drive a clear vision for overall operational excellence and safety culture in the Distribution Centre, harnessing team strengths to achieve this goal.
* Directly manage the effective day-to-day performance of the Pharmacy Distribution Centre, overseeing resource allocation, workforce planning, payroll, performance management, learning and development, recruitment, and case management of workforce issues.
Requirements
* Expert knowledge of contemporary Distribution Centre and warehousing systems, operating models, and related space utilisation and materials handling solutions.
* Strong understanding of interrelationships between Distribution Centres and other functions in a complex supply chain system.
