Due to growth in Australia, they are seeking a Security Project Engineer to oversee and deliver high-quality security projects.
About the Role
As a Security Project Engineer, you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to deliver end-to-end electronic security projects. You will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, and optimisation of integrated security solutions, while managing project timelines, resources, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Technical Execution
* Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of complex integrated security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Alarm, IP Video).
* Manage on-site teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project delivery.
* Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance.
Systems Configuration & Technical Management
* Configure and program enterprise platforms such as Gallagher, Lenel, C-Cure, S2, Milestone, and similar systems.
* Conduct diagnostic testing, PPM servicing, and system optimisation.
* Assist with site surveys, technical design input, and pricing for system upgrades.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong client relationships, addressing inquiries and feedback professionally.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Electronic Security installation, commissioning, or project engineering.
* Hands-on experience with Access Control and CCTV systems.
* Knowledge of platforms: Gallagher, Lenel, S2, Milestone, C-Cure, etc.
* Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Security Engineering preferred.
* Networking fundamentals and CAD experience advantageous.
