Employment Type: Permanent Full Time or Part Time, up to 38 hours per week
Location: Campbelltown Hospital
Position Classification: Registered Nurse Remuneration: $36.38 - $51.08 per hour

Please note: A current influenza (flu) vaccination is a mandatory requirement for appointment to this position

* Robust induction and transition to Emergency Nursing with dedicated educational support
* Dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist development group
* Multidisciplinary resus skills education days (We have an airway skills and resus procedure skills education days open for resus level nurses to train with medical staff)
* ED Nursing Education Fund (Funding heavily discounted APLS positions for nursing staff, soon to be other nursing education and nursing research positions in the future)
* ED Paediatric skills Procedures Day
* 12 hour shifts (if relevant)
* Mix of metro and rural sites
* Daily multidisciplinary SIM and Airway drills (when acuity and capacity allows)

What You'll be Doing
The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality.
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
* Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
* Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
* Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
