Position Overview
We are seeking a commercially astute and deeply connectedSales Agentto pioneer our entry and growth across Australia and New Zealand. This is a foundational role for a professional who speaks the language ofsustainable packaging, regulatory compliance, and circular design.
You will be responsible for introducing our range of mono-material films, films with post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, and recyclable high-barrier solutions to brand owners, converters, and retailers. Your success will directly enable leading ANZ companies to meetPackaging Targets, NZ Plastic Packaging Tax obligations, and ambitious corporate sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the commercial introduction and adoption of QualityFoil's sustainable mono-material film solutions across ANZ, with a focus on key sectors: fresh produce, snacks, confectionery, dairy, home-care, and e-commerce.
* Develop and execute a targeted market-entry strategy, prioritizing brand owners and converters with public sustainability commitments.
* Act as atechnical consultant and compliance partner—educate customers on recyclability (APR/PREP guidelines), recycled content verification, and end-of-life pathways.
* Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key decision-makers including Sustainability Managers, Packaging Development Teams, and Procurement leads.
* Collaborate with our global R&D and technical teams to tailor solutions for local specifications and testing requirements.
* Monitor and report on ANZ regulatory developments, competitor activity, and market trends to shape our regional strategy.
* Represent QualityFoil at industry events, trade shows (e.g., AUSPAC, Packaging NZ), and sustainability forums.
* Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and market penetration objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales within thepackaging industry—preferably with plastic films, flexible packaging, or sustainable materials.
* Established networkwithin the ANZ packaging landscape: contacts at major brands, retailers, and/or converters are essential.
* Strong understanding ofANZ sustainability frameworks: APCO Targets, NZ Plastic Packaging Tax, PREP Design for Recycling, and retailer-specific sustainability requirements.
* Technical ability to discuss polymer science, film extrusion, barrier properties, and recyclability protocols.
* Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with the ability to operate autonomously while building a new territory.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Willingness to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand.
