Job Description
As the AAA Psychology team is rapidly growing, we are seeking a dedicated Provisional Psychologist to join our supportive, respectful, and professional workplace within the NDIS space.
You will be working within a passionate multi-disciplinary team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Exercise Physiologists.
Full-Time and Part-time (minimum 4 days) positions are available.
At AAA, the Provisional Psychologist’s primary role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals.
Responsibilities Include
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based, and client-centered interventions in a professional, confidential, and culturally safe manner.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments (using clinical observations and standardized assessments) and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
- Support and manage your caseload effectively.
- Assist Participants and other stakeholders in developing and reviewing support plans.
- Collaborate with other health professionals and key stakeholders regarding client care.
- Complete case notes, reports, and other correspondence adhering to required standards, legislative requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Attend monthly team meetings and team-led in-services.
- Engage in weekly internal supervision with the Team Leader.
