Maintenance Technician -
A high-level technical role offering expertise in industrial mechanical fitting and maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high-level technical support, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve incidents and breakdowns.
* Trouble-shooting, problem solving, diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
* Carrying out equipment audits and preventative maintenance tasks.
* Building and fitting mechanical components, ensuring precise alignment and functionality.
* Diagnosing and fixing faults in drive systems, wheels, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
* Collaborating with electrical and software teams to synchronize mechanical components with automation systems.
* Maintaining detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and technical feedback.
* Programming drives, scanners, electronic control modules.
* Troubleshooting PLCs.
About You – What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a demonstrated track record in troubleshooting & problem-solving equipment faults within a maintenance environment.
* Australian Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Fitter Trade is essential.
* Restricted Electrical Licence is highly regarded.
* Your own transportation and current Australian driver's licence is required.
* A commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction is expected.
* Be mechanically savvy (experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems).
* Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and in a team.
* The following will also be highly regarded: PLC experience (training can be provided), sound experience in Microsoft Office and report writing skills, computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) and experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems).
