**About the role**:
Are you a customer-focused, solution-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service? Sharp & Carter is currently representing a
**national leader in freight management** who are currently seeking an
**Customer Service Professional** to join their team. This person will drive customer satisfaction while retaining their existing client base.

As a Customer Service professional, you will be responsible for assisting a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, and partner with account managers to implement strategies to maximize client expenditure.

If you have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a keen interest in the transport and logistics industry, we want to hear from you!

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain robust client and carrier relationships through effective communication and coordination with internal teams.
- Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent service from day one.
- Maintain accurate records and update job-related information in a timely manner.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong operational mindset with the ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions.
- Exceptional customer focus, communication, and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Calm and assertive approach when under pressure, with the ability to resolve conflicts and handle escalations effectively.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and results-driven activity.
- Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a fast pace.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Prior experience within customer service and administration based roles
- Previous experience using a Transport Management System
- Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- Polite and friendly manner when interacting with suppliers and clients.
- Advanced computer skills.
