Foundation Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to work on Defence bases across the northern territory and have a real impact on defence infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will provide expert oversight and management of all hydraulic services, including water quality and wastewater systems.
You'll play a key role in developing and implementing Water Quality Management (WQM) and Waste Water Management (WWM) plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing bore water systems.
This position also involves creating and maintaining Service Definition Tables (SDTs) and coordinating with diverse stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement WQM and WWM plans.
Ensure compliance with Waste Water Operating Authority requirements.
Manage bore water systems and associated maintenance.
Develop and maintain SDTs for hydraulic services.
Conduct inspections and audits of hydraulic systems.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
Prepare reports for project management and regulatory compliance.
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience in hydraulic engineering, ideally within defence or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong background in WQM and WWM plan development.
Experience managing bore water systems and regulatory compliance.
Tertiary qualification in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
