Project Engineer for a Tier 3 Civil Contractor

Your new role
As a Senior Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer, you will take responsibility for leading and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery across time, cost, quality, and safety. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to maintain strong communication channels and drive project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing several concurrent projects and ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets
* Providing technical and commercial expertise to support project execution
* Administering project contracts and ensuring compliance with internal processes and industry standards
* Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks
* Coordinating with clients, suppliers, and major stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress
* Applying your technical knowledge to support project development and problem‐solving
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities
* Solid experience in contract administration, including variations, EOTs, claims, and contractual notifications
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management or project engineering within the construction or infrastructure sector, ideally involving Tier One contractors or government clients
* The ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain high standards of delivery
* A relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering, structural engineering, project management, or a related discipline (honours highly regarded)
* Experience working with composite materials will be viewed favourably
