What You'll Do
* Design, undertake and manage geotechnical investigation projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis and reporting.
* Perform desktop studies, field work and laboratory scheduling for geotechnical investigations.
* Interpret and analyse investigation results to deliver designs that contribute to multidisciplinary projects across the sectors.
* Support clients during construction to ensure designs are built according to intent.
* Collaborate with geotechnical colleagues and other disciplines throughout project delivery.
* Drive business development through successful delivery of projects.
* Promote a secure working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazards.
About You
* A civil engineering or Geotechnical degree (or related).
* Postgraduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favorably.
* Successful track record in undertaking and project‐managing field investigations for small to medium sized geotechnical projects.
* Willingness to spend time in the field collecting high‐quality geotechnical data.
* Proven record of promoting innovation in geotechnical engineering to create value for clients and projects.
* Experience in the preparation of written technical reports and client communications.
* Experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction.
* Solid work ethic, ability to work autonomously and in a team workplace.
* Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical investigation and design delivery in multidisciplinary environments as a geotechnical Design Manager.
