With 1000 employees and 9,000 contractors operating in over 70 countries, Airswift's geographical reach, experience and expertise across the energy, mining, infrastructure and technology sectors is unparalleled.About the RoleAssist the Treasury & Insurance Coordinator in performance of the Treasury Accounting function of the Company, in compliance with applicable laws, Group Guidelines, Internal Procedures, and as instructed by the Finance Control & Planning Manager.Position: Treasury & Insurance AssistantLocation: PerthIndicative Term of Contract: 12 monthsWorking Arrangement: Monday-FridayQualifications & ExperienceAdministrative experience within a Finance/Commercial/Treasury DepartmentMinimum 2 years administrative experience in Treasury and/or FinanceMain Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesPayment processing to suppliers, contractors, tax authorities, and JV operatorsMonitoring & reporting of cash balancesProvide assistance to the Accounts Payable function as requiredGeneral administrative duties including archiving, preparation of reports for the Tax function, and other ad hoc requirementsAssisting on special projects as and when requiredSupport in performing SoX controls relating to Accounting, including providing assistance to the Audit and Compliance functionTreasuryEnsure payments to suppliers, contractors, tax authorities, and JV operators are made accurately and on a timely basis in compliance with Internal Procedures and Group GuidelinesAssist with planning of the cash flow to ensure timely availability of funds necessary to execute payments within contractual deadlines, optimising use of incoming and available fundsProvide assistance for monthly reporting requirements of cash balances and forecastsPerform all SAP functions relating to TreasuryPrepare provisional bank reconciliations on a monthly basisSupport audit processes including preparing supporting documentation and answering audit queriesProvide ad hoc assistance on insurance matters, including liaison with insurance brokers as requiredAccounts PayableAssist with invoice registering and electronic storage of invoicesPrepare journals to reclass intercompany costs where required (e.g. travel)GeneralResponsible for archiving requirements of the Finance, Control & Planning Department, including retrieval and coordinationProvide SAP reports as required to assist the Tax functionLiaison with HR and IT Department for setup of new usersProvide ad hoc assistance to the Finance, Control & Planning Department where requiredOnly candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.Interested or know someone who fits the role?
