Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to strengthen partnerships across the housing, homelessness and broader service system to resolve complex issues, deliver improved housing and homelessness services and ensure funded provides deliver holistic, place-based and trauma informed services which represent value for money and meet customer needs. What you will be doing:
• Conduct sound end-to-end contract management practices which deliver appropriate service responses to customers, by managing performance, compliance, monitoring and reporting, in alignment with funding agreements, legislation, department policies, frameworks, best practice standards, program specifications and guidelines.
• Build, maintain, and support collaborative relationships and partnerships with internal/external stakeholders at meetings, forums, and networking opportunities; professionally and proactively manage provider performance and compliance, conduct reviews; and enable the delivery of innovative and effective customer outcomes.
• Communicate effectively in a clear, succinct, and deliberate manner focusing on collective problem-solving and decision-making, early identification, and resolution of issues; preparing well-written briefs, executive correspondence and reports that reflect sound assessment and evidence-based findings against operational specifications, contractual requirements and department guidelines.
• Support a positive team culture focused on collaboration, communication and cultural capability, including for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; working flexibly in a fast-paced and diverse team environment; embracing agile methodology and using a build, measure learn approach which contributes to continuous improvement.
• Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
