The Beerburrum to Nambour Upgrade project is a major civil infrastructure project being delivered as a joint venture. The project involves duplicating the North Coast Line, upgrading the Beerburrum Road and Steve Irwin Way intersection with a new overpass, expanding the park 'n' ride at Beerburrum Station, and replacing the Barrs Road level crossing with a new overpass.
About the Role
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ responsibilities, project management plans, and company policies while proactively identifying and escalating project risks.
* Monitor construction quality and progress against method statements and ITPs to deliver works to required standards.
* Manage daily field operations, including team supervision, productivity tracking, cost control, and estimating support.
* Oversee procurement processes and subcontractor management, ensuring adherence to governance, authority limits, and verification of claims.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), with experience in civil construction, preferably in an on-site environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with the ability to develop and manage short-term production bar-charts and critical path networks (up to 100 activities).
* Solid understanding of safety legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes.
* Knowledge of project scope management, including contractual change procedures and distribution of responsibilities among project stakeholders.
