About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing, building, and operating complex data centres. As a Data Centre Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our data centres operate at peak efficiency, provide excellent customer service, and meet the highest standards of safety and security.
You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to design, build, and operate complex data centres. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data centre is operating at peak efficiency. This includes planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response.
You will also manage small-to-medium projects from conception to completion. As well as owning cluster-wide technical programs that monitor and maintain the effectiveness of DCEO equipment and staff. These projects and programs involve large amounts of independent work as well as collaboration with external support groups including engineering, automation, processing, and finance in both local and global settings.
