Job Description
Newhaul is seeking a Fixed Plant Electrician to join our Port team on a7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off Roster, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and servicing fixed plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Roster and Remuneration:
* Hourly Rate: $65/hr
* Annualised Wage: $189,500 per year+ Superannuation +Performance Bonus
* Roster:7 Days, 7 Nights,7 Off
Key Responsibilities
* Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, procedures, and standards; ensure compliance with legislative requirements and workplace health and safety.
* Work Planning & Execution: Plan, prioritise, and execute tasks as per daily work orders, including corrective maintenance and capital works projects.
* Equipment Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and testing on fixed plant and associated electrical equipment, including 12V and 24VDC systems and CCTV apparatus.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, complete log book entries, provide progress updates, and report incidents in a timely manner.
* Supervision & Training: Oversee apprentices, including log book sign-offs, and foster knowledge-sharing within the team.
* Shutdowns & Coordination: Assist with shutdown procedures, LOTO implementation, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Housekeeping & Site Maintenance: Ensure site cleanliness, maintain MCC areas, and uphold high housekeeping standards.
* Autonomous & Teamwork Capabilities: Work independently while coordinating with other teams and departments when required.
This is a permanentopportunity, based in Geraldton, working 12-hour shifts on a 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off Roster.
