About the opportunity
Exciting leadership opportunity in our Wealth, Digital and Enterprise Platforms division of Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Superannuation and Retirement Platforms Technology Management and leading the development of the platform’s technology strategy.

How you will make an impact
2. Build and maintain a three year technology plan to help realise Wealth Management and Technology objectives and strategy, as it pertains to Super & Retirement business
3. Partner with other senior stakeholders across the business and technology to drive innovative, and cost-effective technology solutions for AMP’s customers & members, whilst maintaining risk within agreed risk profile
4. Actively manage Superannuation and Retirement Platforms controllable and non-controllable technology costs (incl. project financials), to drive cost effective outcomes whilst applying a strong commercial lens
5. Ensure alignment to AMP’s third-party management framework, and associated standards driving strong commercial outcomes and fostering strong strategic partnerships
6. Create a strong risk aware culture and ensure pro-active management of risk, regulatory, and compliance obligations including driving remediation of an issues/incidents
7. Lead and develop a collaborative, highly effective and engaged team, embodying AMP’s Brand Culture
What you will bring to the role
8. Proven experience in senior technology leadership positions within Wealth Management
9. In depth understanding of Super and Retirement Technology and proven experience in Super and Retirement technologies
10. Proven experience in successful IT strategy formulation and implementation
11. Proven ability to drive large scale change, lead team size of ~50 and ability to influence senior stakeholders
12. Demonstrated experience leading and managing technical teams
13. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the organisation
14. Strategic thinking and the ability to align technology strategy with overall business objectives
15. Strong financial management skills to manage budgets, cost-benefit analysis, and vendor negotiations
