Responsibilities:
* Chairside assisting during dental procedures, including implant placements, restorative procedures and general dentistry.
* Proficiently handle sterilisation procedures to ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
* Perform reception tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
* Assist the dentist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
* Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and support the overall success of the practice.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification, desired, however, not mandatory.
* Proven experience as a dental assistant, desired however, not mandatory.
* Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilisation methods.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with dental practice management software - EXACT, D4W etc.
* Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
