Your new company
You'll be joining a large, data‑driven organisation investing heavily in modern analytics, data warehousing, and business intelligence capabilities. The environment is complex, collaborative, and focused on delivering trusted, high‑quality data to support strategic decision‑making.
Your new role
As a Data Engineer, you'll design, build, and support enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions. You'll work across the full data lifecycle—requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimisation. You'll develop ETL/ELT pipelines, model new data assets, build SQL‑based solutions, and contribute to dashboards and reporting. You'll also troubleshoot production issues, improve performance, and guide stakeholders on effective data use.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience in BI/DW development and SQL Server.
Hands‑on ETL development using tools such as SSIS or DataStage.
Experience with dimensional and relational modelling.
Exposure to cloud data pipelines (e.g., Azure).
Ability to work across agile teams and collaborate with analysts, architects, and technical stakeholders.
A proactive, self‑driven approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
Background in financial services is beneficial but not essential.
What you'll get in return
The chance to shape enterprise‑wide data integration and analytics solutions.
Exposure to a broad stakeholder group across technology, business, governance, and operations.
Opportunities to improve data processes, performance, and engineering standards.
A role where your technical expertise directly influences data quality, insights, and organisational outcomes.
