You will manage and motivate a small team, actively sell the products yourself and lead the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the sales team across NSW.
You will be a 'go getter' salesperson and will have a strong handle on how to drive sales of products through digital channels such as Facebook, Instagram etc... You will also have experience within the B2B construction, industrial or related sectors. Retail experience in the tools industry could also be of interest.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee and grow sales activities across NSW in alignment with national budgets and strategic business plans.
* Lead, mentor and develop a small high-performing team, including field sales, internal support, and service centre staff.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of regional sales strategies and market expansion initiatives.
* Create and execute regional sales plans, including setting KPIs for individual team members in coordination with national leadership.
* Assist in shaping product positioning and pricing strategies relevant to the local market and sales channels.
* Represent the business at trade shows, training events, customer presentations, and other promotional activities.
* Maintain oversight of customer creditworthiness and payment behaviour within the region.
* Conduct regular competitor and market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
* Define and monitor sales effectiveness measures using CRM and other sales performance tools.
* Foster a proactive, customer-focused service culture within the local team.
* Help to drive sales of products using digital channels such as Facebook and Instagram.
Required experience:
* Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue goals, preferably within the B2B construction, industrial, or related sectors.
* Familiarity with construction tools and applications is advantageous.
* Understanding of market-driven pricing, negotiation, and deal-closing techniques.
* Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
