Occupational Therapist Role
The Royal Children's Hospital provides high-quality care for children and young people. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership across RCH occupational therapy and drive a culture of curiosity, quality improvement, and research.
You will facilitate others in the delivery of evidence-based occupational therapy and translation of research into clinical practice, as well as deliver quality improvement and research initiatives.

About the Position
* This is a Permanent Part-Time position at 45.6 hours per fortnight within the Occupational Therapy Department.
* Classification for this position will range from Grade 4 Year 1 to Grade 4 Year 4.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Well-developed clinical research skills, including an understanding of ethical, legal, and financial considerations when undertaking defined research activities.
* Clinical expertise specific to infants, children, and adolescents and/or the tertiary hospital setting.
* Ability to analyze, critique, and synthesize data from sources to inform the development and implementation of a research strategy for Occupational Therapy Services, and specific clinical research questions.

About the Occupational Therapy Department
The Occupational Therapy department is within the Division of Ambulatory Services. We provide inpatient and outpatient services for infants, children, adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions.
