Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing financial support to the CFO, encompassing finance and payroll functions across multiple entities. The role requires preparing BAS for each entity on a monthly and/or quarterly basis, ensuring GST is correctly accounted for and reconciled to the general ledger.

Accounting Tasks:

The successful candidate will manage and oversee payroll functions, including managing the master file, identifying any discrepancies, errors or omissions prior to management review and sign off, superannuation requirements, salary and wage declaration for workers compensation.

In addition, they will maintain and manage financial records for superannuation funds and work with external accountants/auditors for annual reporting.

Commercial Property Management:
">
The candidate will also be responsible for managing, recording and monitoring costs for all commercial properties and developments, including invoicing, cost control, budgets and reporting.

Foreign Currency Management:
">
They will complete daily reconciliation and documentation for foreign currency/forward exchange contracts.

Audit and Statutory Reporting:
">
The successful candidate will manage the financial documentation across all entities for audit and statutory reporting.

Requirements:
">
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess qualifications in Business, Accounting or Commerce, preferably with CA or CPA certification.

Additionally, you will require experience in audit and/or taxation, with a minimum of 5 years in accounting roles.

You must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to problem solve.
