**The Prospect**:
Komatsu are seeking a highly motivated HR Business Partner to join their Western Region team based in Welshpool. This team is a collaborative group with great business support to deliver exceptional service for their people.
Supporting the workforce and associated businesses of the organisation, you will provide generalist HR support for the team and key stakeholders, together with taking responsibility for business partnering.
**Roster**:Monday to Friday***
**Role Located**:Welshpool - Hybrid working environment - including WFH
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide support to the Regional HR Manager on all HR related aspects within the area of responsibility
- Provides day-to-day support and HR advice, guidance and recommendations to the local management team on all operational and strategic HR issues
- Collaborate with management to identify development needs and ensure successful development and training of employees in coordination with Talent Management
- Ensure that HR is a strategic partner to management, involved in the decision-making process for HR related matters
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, improve our culture and increase retention
- Ensure full compliance with local law and where needed, Consults with external/internal legal advisors as required

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a minimum of three years experience in an Advisory role
- Proven experience working with employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management
- Ability to create and collaborate effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business
- Proven experience in providing policy advice on workplace legislation and understanding of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and employment-related legislation
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing, mining or resources environment is desirable however not essential
