About this Role:
Based in our Launceston dealership, we are seeking an experienced, qualified Technician, with a minimum of 4 years' experience, to focus on the reconditioning of used car, as part of our focus on ensuring all used vehicles sold by the Company are to the standard expected by our customers. This is a unique role where you will perform a wide range of repairs to a large variety of models and brands.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Manager and working in a highly trained technical team, you will be responsible for:
* Performing vehicle diagnostics & fault finding using the latest equipment.
* Carrying out necessary works to a high standard.
* Reconditioning & repairs of complex and technologically advanced vehicle systems.
Skills & Experience:
* Qualification as a technician with a formal Automotive Trade.
* Roadworthy license is highly desired.
* Experience in a range of systems including modern diesel & petrol engines.
* Excellent diagnostic, communication and problem-solving skills.
* A positive attitude and a proactive nature.
* The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment.
* A current manual driver's licence.
* A transport inspectors certificate is also highly desirable.
