About the role
To be successful in this role you will ideally be committed to maximising our students’ potential and providing a relevant and engaging learning experience. The successful applicant will be a part of the Science Learning Area and be responsible for planning and developing the Science curriculum in conjunction with the Science team. The successful applicant should have sound knowledge of the requirements of the Western Australian Curriculum.
We are looking for a teacher with strong teaching and classroom management skills, and who can develop good relationships with all students and engage them in highly effective learning. You will ideally be experienced with Visible Learning and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). In addition, you should be able to work in a team environment, engage in professional learning and liaise with colleagues, parents, and external networks.
The ability to differentiate curriculum and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes for both high and low achieving students is a key element to this position. You will ideally build positive relationships with your students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students and utilise evidence-based decision-making skills within your practice.

It is the company’s largest and is the longest horizontal storage bin in the southern hemisphere. CBH Merredin is the largest inland receival point in the state.
With plenty of parks, gardens, natural bushland and a wide range of accommodation and cafes, it’s an ideal base for exploring the many Merredin attractions and the sights of the Western Australian Wheatbelt. The town is also serviced daily by the Transwa, Prospector and MerredinLink passenger trains.
