Senior Project Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering successful projects, excellent leadership skills and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
About the role:
* Lead high-performing interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex water infrastructure projects
* Contribute to decision making and challenge how our projects are being delivered
* Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals
* Develop strong working relationships with clients by delivering valuable business solutions and understanding the client's business
* Contribute to a positive team culture and support the development of junior staff
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering or associated disciplines
* Demonstrated delivery capability and track record
* Demonstrated project team leadership skills
* Solid technical understanding of water infrastructure preferred, including some or all of the following:
o Water and sewerage networks
o Water and wastewater treatment plants
o Water resources projects
o Dams and pumped hydro infrastructure
o General civil heavy infrastructure
* Project Management qualifications/certifications preferred (e.g. Project Management Professional) or working towards the attainment of a recognised qualification / certification
* Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a high level of financial competency
* Strong ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved
* Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients to meet their objectives
* Ideally experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment
