Your responsibilities will include management of the store Operations as well as Assistant Manager tasks. Being a part of our leadership team you are passionate about operational excellence. You achieve this by leading operational governance and collaborating with the Store Manager to create a high performing team, by coaching and empowering others to fulfil operational requirements.

Some of the specifics:
**Location**: Shop 78, 26 Safety Bay Rd, Stockland Baldivis. Baldivis WA 6171 Australia

**Store Hours**:
Monday
- Wednesday: 9 am to 5 pm

Thursday: 9 am - 9 pm

Friday: 9 am - 5:30 pm

Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm

Sunday : 11 am - 4 pm
- Must have 7-day availability and be open to overtime during busy periods, you will be on a rotating roster with 5 days on and 2 consecutive days off._

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identify skill gaps in within the team and provide targeted on-going coaching and development initiatives to improve sales, operational capability and compliance
- In the absence of the Store Manager you will own and guide the store to ensure a seamless transition.
- Oversee the induction and ongoing training of new team members.
- Execute business initiatives to meet and achieve store targets for each quarter of the financial year by setting and tracking monthly sales and customer experience targets.
- Initiate the store's compliance against central operating standards and processes and preside over productive operational excellence.
- Resolve basic and complex store level customer complaints.
- Ensure adherence the agreed customer sales model within the store.
- Organise the shop floor to supervise customer flow and store traffic.
- Ability to engage with customers in front of house activity such as customer sales and service as needed
- Be responsible for the merchandising for the store - making sure all VM campaign materials is up to date
- Continue to monitor compliance standards through regular auditing to achieve outstanding operational performance
- Participate in continuous HSE improvement initiatives and role model safe and responsible behaviours to provide a safe workplace, minimise the risk of injury and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of the team

This is a Permanent Full-Time reporting directly to the Store Manager.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience influencing people in a retail environment
- Outstanding organisation and communication skills
- Advanced appreciation of customer needs and proficient in resolving customer issues
- Proven track record working within a productive, high-pace, customer-orientated retail environment
- Ability to successfully create and execute business improvement initiatives, and support the change agenda in store
- Ability to successfully execute against key metrics (financial and customer)
- Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems or issues using methodical and analytic approaches
- Experience in assisting others to develop through coaching methods
- Quick learner and passion to learn new processes and systems
