About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Registered Nurse/Practice Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team for a part-time position. Upon commencement you will receive a dedicated training program that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality care to our patients at the highest level.
The role is focused on supporting our doctors with clinical procedures, and in providing the highest quality experience for our patients, from completing care plans and assessments to the management of their health care recovery to meet their overall health goals.
As a Part time Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your nursing expertise to a thriving medical practice.
- Providing nursing care and support to patients in a primary care setting
- Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments and minor procedures
- Conducting health assessments, Care Plans, screenings and Immunisations
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Co-ordination in the ordering and management of medical supplies and equipment
- Promoting health education and preventative care to patients
- Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development
About you:
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications.
- Previous Medical Centre experience in General Practice (preferred).
- Previous experience in Immunisations (preferred).
- Experience in Best Practice (not essential).
- Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work autonomously, and work effectively in a quick-paced environment.
- Commitment to best practice, ethical behaviour and conduct.
- Company funded pre-employment medical and current vaccination and immunisation status.
