Key Buyer Role
The Key Buyer role is a crucial position in the buying & planning team, responsible for managing product range strategy, selection and buying across channels to drive financial results.
This full-time contract will cover the buyer's absence and provide an opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic retail environment.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the buying team, developing and executing buying strategies aligned to financial targets and business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing commercially viable product ranges tailored to channel/market needs
* Managing open to buy (OTB) and option planning, factoring in commercial, financial, and lifecycle considerations
* Conducting sales and trade analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps
* Monitoring and maximising sell-through performance across all channels
* Leading and developing the buying team, fostering a culture of high performance, creativity, and accountability
