Raptis operates three modern 27-metre steel trawlers located between Adelaide and Port Lincoln (SA). These vessels are fully equipped with refrigeration and electrical systems and powered by Caterpillar or GE marine engines.
About the Venture
The fishing crew comprises Skipper, Engineer, Mate, Cook and Deckhands. These vessels are supported with on-shore administration and engineering services.
Multiple crew opportunities are regularly available and fishing in this area is year round.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily fishing operations and onboard duties.
Maintain vessel components and machinery.
Support crew tasks such as cooking and deck maintenance.
Help ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Marine Engineer
– Marine Engine Driver (MED 1 or MED 2) with refrigeration endorsement, First Aid, and commercial fishing or sea experience.
Deckhand & Cook
– At-sea experience preferred.
