Sugar Australia has an opportunity for a Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator to join our People & Culture team on a
part-time basis (0.6 FTE)
, based at our Yarraville VIC Head Office on a
12-month fixed-term contract
. Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, this role plays a key part in supporting our recruitment and onboarding activities through effective administration, coordination and stakeholder support.
This is your opportunity to make a real impact by supporting the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, maintaining compliance, and helping us deliver a welcoming and efficient process for every new team member.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Drafting and posting job advertisements, coordinating approvals, and managing postings on Snaphire and other platforms.
* Reviewing applications, preparing longlists, and conducting initial candidate screening.
* Organising interviews, preparing interview guides, and coordinating psychometric assessments.
* Managing reference checks, work rights verification, and medical bookings.
* Preparing onboarding documentation, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
* Maintaining accurate recruitment records and trackers.
* Acting as a key point of contact for candidates and supporting hiring managers and the People & Culture team throughout the recruitment process.
What we're wanting you to bring to the table:
We're looking for a highly organised administrator with strong attention to detail and an interest in recruitment and people processes.
You'll bring:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or current study in Human Resources (or related field) desirable.
* Previous experience in administration or support roles, ideally with a recruitment or HR focus.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with recruitment systems is an advantage.
