Environmental Engineer- Air Monitoring Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer for the role of Air Monitoring Consultant to join our South Brisbane team of environmental engineers and scientists.
The position is located in South Brisbane within walking distance to West End and Brisbane City.
Trinity Consultants Australia is part of the global professional services provider Trinity Consultants delivering engineering and scientific advice to the building, mining, industrial, manufacturing, ports and transport sectors.
The successful candidate will provide a high-quality service for our clients and for our internal team, undertaking modelling and other consulting and research projects in the field of air quality assessment, greenhouse gas assessment, and environmental management plans.
The salary range offered is $78,000 to $85,000 + superannuation.
Candidates
Unrestricted work rights in Australia
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
Preference for permanent working visa
Minimum 3 years' experience in air monitoring or stack emissions testing.
Sound understanding of stack emission test methods – AS ****, US EPA, or European equivalents.
Experience in equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair.
Experience with FTIR
Strong practical and mechanical skills with hand tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Valid driver's licence with the ability to operate manual and 4WD vehicles.
Physically capable of lifting 20 kg, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
Comfortable working in hot outdoor environments.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to drive manual 4x4 vehicles.
Additional Requirements
Completion of Safe Work at Heights and Elevated Work Platform Operator training (or willingness to obtain).
Willingness to travel and stay away from home for short periods.
