Research Accountant Position
As a Research Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial management and compliance of externally funded research grants and contracts. Your key responsibilities will include preparing accurate financial reports, acquittals, and certified statements in accordance with funding agreements, accounting standards, and university policies.
You will work closely with researchers, funding bodies, and internal stakeholders to provide timely, consistent, and reliable financial information. This will involve contributing to major institutional reporting requirements such as the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) and supporting continuous improvement in financial processes.
To be successful in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and be progressing towards a CA or CPA Qualification and/or relevant professional sector experience. Demonstrated experience in accounting processes, reporting, and analysing financial information is also essential.

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
