NHN Group is seeking highly motivated Maritime & Critical Infrastructure Security Guards to deliver high-standard access control patrol and monitoring services. Role Overview
* Monitor and control access at the gatehouse ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles enter secure zones.
* Verify compliance and conduct ID and credential checks in line with site protocols.
* Provide professional consistent coverage at the gatehouse and support shift transitions.
* Record gatehouse activities and interactions accurately using logbooks or electronic systems.
* Respond to incidents or access breaches occurring near the gatehouse and follow emergency protocols.
* Report any operational concerns or suspicious behaviour to the Site Supervisor.
* Represent the security team with professionalism and courtesy when interacting with users.
* Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols of the port precinct including perimeter fencing berths storage areas and infrastructure zones.
* Respond rapidly to alarms breaches or suspicious behaviour during patrols and secure incident scenes as needed.
* Perform roving access checks to confirm all personnel and vehicles in secure areas are compliant.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patrol and incident reports in line with SOPs.
* Carry out regular welfare checks on static security officers stationed at gatehouses.
* Identify and report trends hazards or improvement areas to enhance the security program.
* Act as a mobile deterrent to unauthorised access and provide a visible security presence across the site.
About You
To be considered for this role you must have :
* A current Security Licence.
* A valid Provide First Aid Certificate.
* A current drivers licence and reliable transport.
* Prior experience in maritime or critical infrastructure security (highly regarded)
