SAGE Automation seeks a Graduate Electrical Engineer in Darwin to work on industrial automation projects with hands‑on learning and mentoring.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Work on industrial automation projects from kick‑off to handover, including design documentation, PLC RTU and SCADA programming, factory acceptance testing, on‑site commissioning, and hand‑over documentation.
* Provide assistance with technical delivery and execution of projects.
* Work within a team environment alongside junior and senior Engineers.
* Support Project Managers and Support Technicians with project assistance.
* Assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender responses.
* Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines.
* Liaise confidently with management and internal staff.
About You
The company is looking for:
* Undergraduate or recent graduate of Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
* Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems (desirable).
* Basic understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
* High competency in report and technical writing.
* High computer competency, particularly with MS Office.
* Experience in Electrical Drafting and use of software packages such as AutoCAD (desirable).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.
* Australian driver's licence.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Australian citizenship and Defence Clearance (desirable).
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, and resourceful with a great attitude.
