**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform tree climbing operations, including pruning, shaping, and safe tree removals using ropes, harnesses, and rigging systems.
- Assess tree health, structural integrity, and potential risks, providing specialist advice on tree management and care.
- Advise on species selection and site planning for urban tree preservation and management.
- Prune and clear trees from electricity and power lines.
- Operate arboricultural equipment (chainsaws, chippers, elevated work platforms) safely and efficiently to effectively care for trees.
- Collaborate with ground crew and allied professionals (e.g., landscape architects) to ensure high-standard project completion.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standard AS 4373 ("Pruning of Amenity Trees") and workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of tree assessments and work performed.
**Selection Criteria**
- Minimum 3 year of experience as a Climbing Arborist (or equivalent international experience).
- Valid White Card (Construction Induction).
- Manual Driver's Licence (Medium Rigid licence preferred).
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Strong knowledge of tree species, health assessment, and Australian Standard AS 4373.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
