WorkPac is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist / Fitter & Machinist to join our client's dynamic and growing maintenance and repair team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a strong mechanical background to work with a well-established organisation in the engineering sector.
Our client is a well-established engineering and maintenance company based in Lisarow, specialising in the repair, refurbishment, and supply of industrial rotating equipment.
What you will be doing:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Setting up and operating lathes, boring machines, and related manual machining equipment
Performing precision machining and fitting from engineering drawings and specifications
Assembling, fault diagnosing, and repairing rotating and metal equipment
Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
What you will need:
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency in manual machining, fitting, and assembly work
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
A solid commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Highly Regarded Skills
Welding skills (TIG, MIG, or ARC)
Experience with pump and rotating equipment maintenance
