Are you a
Senior User Experience Designer
who is ready to lead the design and delivery of large-scale, state-wide government programs?
In the role of
Design Manager UX
, you will take ownership of redesigning complex, high-stakes internal applications that must be intuitive, accessible, and efficient.
You'll apply human-centred design principles across research, journey mapping, prototyping, testing and iteration—bringing together insights from users, business teams, and developers to create streamlined digital experiences that work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the redesign of internal systems with a focus on usability and efficiency.
* Conduct user research and workshops to understand complex workflows and user needs.
* Map user journeys, prototype and test solutions to improve system design.
* Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
About You:
* You bring 5 to 10 years experience in
user experience design for internal applications.
* You've worked in
mission-critical or complex environments
where accuracy matters.
* You're confident translating research into actionable design outcomes.
* Proficient in
Figma
and familiar with other wireframing and prototyping tools.
