About the Role
As Head of Department – Student Services you will lead a dynamic team to deliver on the strategies and outcomes of the school's strategic and annual implementation plan. A large focus of the plan is on belonging, measured by attendance, behaviour outcomes and the student school opinion survey. You will case‑manage a variety of year levels providing strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may come from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Where requested, prepare all data returns for the Principal.
- Provide management and engagement strategies including induction activities for new arrivals, and advise on specific academic, social and emotional needs of new arrivals.
