We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Manager to lead our payroll team in delivering high-quality services.
* Lead and manage the payroll services team to ensure timely production of payroll and remuneration services.
* Provide data analysis and comprehensive reporting for informed management decision-making.
* Ensure timely delivery of the Parliament's fortnightly payroll process.
* Prepare and pay all State and Federal tax obligations, including Single Touch Payroll, PAYGW tax, Payroll tax, Workcover, and Super Guarantee contributions.
A highly analytical individual with excellent problem-solving, project management, and negotiation skills is required. The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on pay/human resource policies and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the payroll services team to achieve optimal performance.
* Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely data analysis and comprehensive reporting to support management decision-making.
* Payroll Process Management: Ensure the smooth operation of the Parliament's fortnightly payroll process.
* Tax Compliance: Prepare and pay all State and Federal tax obligations in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as accounting or human resources.
* Experience: Proven experience in managing and delivering payroll services.
* Skillset: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and negotiation skills.
* Legislative Knowledge: Ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on pay/human resource policies and legislation.
