About the RoleThe primary purpose of this position is to assist with the operation and maintenance of Council's water and wastewater treatment systems, networks, and equipment to ensure compliance with health, environmental, and customer service standards.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include
Manual labour and operation of mobile and fixed plant & equipmentWorking in confined spaces, at heights, and over waterExposure to electrical hazards and sewage (including clearing wastewater chokes and working at treatment plants)Participation in call-out rotations, weekend, and public holiday workFlexibility to work from any location within the Uralla Shire Council area
