Hospitality Assistant – Cleaning & Catering at The Lodge
Type: Permanent Part‐Time Opportunity | AM and PM shifts
We are currently seeking a motivated and caring Hospitality Assistant to support our dedicated team across cleaning, laundry, and catering services in our aged care facility.
About the role
* Assisting with laundry services, ensuring infection control and laundry practice standards
* Maintaining adequate standards of hygiene and tidiness when cleaning residents' rooms, community and public areas, kitchen and laundry
* Assisting with catering tasks such as preparing food and beverages and maintaining supplies
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Aged care experience preferred
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
* Professional presentation
* Flexibility with shifts (to cover teammates when they are sick or on leave)
* A current Food Handling Certificate is required
* Previous work in Aged Care or healthcare is essential

Additional Requirements
* Police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and less than 12 months since issue
* Vaccination: Seasonal influenza by 1 June each year; COVID‐19 vaccination as per current ATAGI guidelines
