Join us at UTS and help shape the future!About the RoleAs the Senior Functional Analyst, you will provide technical leadership and support to ensure the efficient delivery of IT services across UTS. This role focuses on driving complex technical projects, overseeing the design, configuration, and optimisation of enterprise platforms to align with UTS’s strategic objectives.In this role, you’ll work across a wide range of enterprise applications - from Salesforce to TechOne and beyond, supporting business units like student management, facilities, and operations.You’ll be the kind of person who’s comfortable talking to a stakeholder in the morning and configuring a solution in the afternoon. You’ll also have a say in how we improve processes, adopt automation, and streamline how our applications are used university-wide.About YouAs the Senior Functional Analyst, you will:Act as a trusted advisor and business analyst, translating business needs into platform solutions.Take ownership of configuration, documentation, and support across multiple applications.Learn and adapt to new systems quickly — curiosity and cross-skilling are highly valued here.Facilitate vendor discussions, contribute to system upgrades, and support adoption of new features.Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to understand user needs and identify improvement opportunities.Work in an agile, team-oriented environment where your voice and initiative can shape our ways of working.For the full list of role responsibilities and selection criteria please download the position description from the link below this advertisement.What You’ll Need to Succeed2–4 years of business analysis experience, ideally in operational or enterprise technology environments.Some experience with CRM or ERP platforms - Salesforce or TechOne exposure is highly desirable.A hands-on, "figure-it-out" attitude — you enjoy configuration, not just documentation.Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly and work across multiple technologies.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — you can explain tech to non-tech people and vice versa.Examples of where you’ve proactively improved processes or championed better ways of working.A generalist and growth mindset — someone who can flex across different platforms and doesn’t want to be pigeonholed.Base Salary Range: $138,882 to $145495 pa (HEW 9)This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.We offer a comprehensive range of benefits designed to support professional growth, personal well-being, and work-life balance.
