ROLE DETAILS
Job Title: Client: Recruitment & Account Manager
Reporting To: State Manager
Salary: $75,000 + Super + Laptop + Phone
Hours: 40–45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm. Flexibility required to meet
the demands of the role.
Location: QLD Office – Bundall QLD 4217.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This is an end-to-end operations role working alongside the State Manager to support the smooth
running and continued growth of the QLD branch. The position spans business development and
strategic client outreach, client onboarding, bookings, placements, recruitment, and field staff
management – with a strong emphasis on proactively building the client pipeline and converting
leads into active accounts. The role also carries rostering, payroll support, and general
administration responsibilities.
Responsibility 1 – Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong, proactive relationships with new and existing clients. Ensure prompt and
professional communication across all booked, planned, and quoted work. Monitor inboxes
and client phones outside standard hours as required.
Responsibility 2 – Business Development & Client Acquisition
Drive business growth through high-volume outreach, warm and cold calling, lead
qualification, and new client onboarding. Prepare and negotiate quotes, rates, and scope of
works. Manage the full new client journey from first contact through to account set-up,
including rate cards, credit applications, and client education on processes and procedures.
Responsibility 3 – Client Bookings & Job Management
Manage incoming client job requests and bookings. Record all details accurately in Alloc8 or
relevant software, ensuring all OHS and compliance information is obtained with head office
support where needed.
Responsibility 4 – Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for on-hire staff including advertising, screening,
interviewing, and onboarding. Ensure all employee files meet compliance requirements.
Responsibility 5 – Rostering & Workforce Scheduling
Manage the on-hire staff roster in Alloc8. Enter and maintain all bookings, shifts, and
amendments. Send notifications, follow up on unaccepted jobs, and re-roster as needed
based on availability, sick days, or no-shows.
Responsibility 7 – General Administration
Assist with a range of tasks including marketing, payroll and accounts support, data entry,
invoice review and approval, project coordination, and ad-hoc tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS &; EXPERIENCE
* Essential
* White Card
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in labour hire or construction
* Sound understanding of the Australian construction industry
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Confident with computers, administration, and Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
Desirable
* Experience in a Client Account Manager, Recruitment, or Business Development role
* Demonstrated experience in strategic sales or client acquisition
* Familiarity with Alloc8 or similar rostering / scheduling software
