Responsibilities
Oversee preparation, production, and service of premium food.
Lead and develop the kitchen team.
Manage key kitchen financial performance indicators.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation, production, and service of premium food for the restaurant, as well as the training and growth of the entire kitchen team. Additionally, you'll oversee key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses.
Qualifications
Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
Experience leading and developing a team
Ability to understand, interpret and explain key kitchen financial performance indicators including cost of goods, labor costs and wastage
Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent
Sound understanding of food safety concerns
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Base pay range
$74k - $80k
