About therole
We are currently seeking aproactive and skilled Safety Auditor to join our Health and Safetyteam. This role is central to enhancing Viterra's safetyculture by developing and delivering internal safety auditprograms, supporting system improvements, and providing expertguidance on our health and safety management systems andplatforms.
KeyResponsibilities
Audit Program Development &Training
- Design and implement internalsafety management system audits aligned with Viterra'saudit program.
- Coach, mentor and conductinternal safety audits
Monitoring &Reporting
- Monitor audit progress,ensuring timely completion and effective follow-up.
- Analyse audit data andgenerate reports that drive continuous safetyimprovements.
- Prepare reports, includingkey statistics and trends.
System Administration &Support
- Act as the lead administratorfor electronic systems managing hazards, incidents, contractorsafety, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Provide support to the SafetyManagement System/Reporting Coordinator whenneeded.
Health & SafetyLeadership
- Promote a culture wheresafety is integral to business operations.
- Advise on hazardidentification, risk control, and legislativecompliance.
- Contribute to the maintenanceand improvement of the Health and Safety ManagementSystem.
- Support reporting and dataaccuracy for local and global reportingrequirements.
Aboutyou
- Demonstrated experience insafety auditing or health and safety systemsmanagement.
- Strong knowledge of healthand safety regulations and audit principles (at least 2 yearexperience).
- Experience with electronicHSE systems and data reporting tools.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to coach and influence.
- Proven ability to workindependently and collaboratively across teams.
- High attention to detail withstrong analytical and reporting capabilities.
