The Team & Role
Bayside Health Peninsula Care Group Health offers a great opportunity for secondary school students who want to explore a career in healthcare. Our Work Experience Program gives students in Years 10, 11 and 12 the chance to see what it’s really like to work in hospitals and allied health services. If you’re accepted into the program, you’ll spend up to one week (five consecutive working days) in one of our departments. During your placement, you’ll be able to observe daily tasks, meet staff from different roles, and learn about the many career pathways available in healthcare.
Who is eligible to apply for the Work Experience Program?
Students are eligible to apply if they are:
* Currently enrolled in Year 10, 11 or 12 at a Victorian Secondary School

* Interested in exploring careers in healthcare or allied health services
* Able to complete a one‑week (five consecutive working days) placement
* Supported by their school, including any required paperwork
