Your New Role
As a Freezer Storeperson, you will be responsible for receiving, stacking, storing and distributing product and packaging materials. Your day‑to‑day duties will include managing stock, palletising and wrapping product, loading and unloading containers, scanning and labelling product lines, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. You will also be responsible for loading the freezer for optimal freezing times, picking fresh and frozen orders, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This position offers a salary of $80,000 including night shift and cold allowances, based on a 38 hour week, with overtime paid additionally.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Experience working in large freezers
* Forklift licence is essential
* Proven ability to work in below zero temperatures
* Experience using inventory systems, RF scanners and stocktake procedures
* Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
* Understanding of HACCP and the cold chain process
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of fish or seafood products is highly advantageous
* Eligibility to work in Australia and willingness to undergo pre‑employment checks (criminal history, drug and alcohol testing, medical assessment)
